IN-TUBE FLAW DETECTOR SECTION

The invention relates to magnetic non-destructive testing of steel pipelines by investigating magnetic scattering zones with the aid of probes displaceable inside a tube and consisting of several sections. The inventive in-tube flaw detector section comprises a cylindrical body provided with removable lids and at least one coupling device. Said section also comprises an element for transmitting an axial force between the coupling devices, which are axially positioned with respect to the body and consist of two discs between which said body provided with lids is arranged. The discs of the axial force-transmitting element are connected to each other by tightening elements, wherein each disc is also connected to the corresponding coupling device. The section body is provided with elements for preventing the displacement thereof in a radial direction with respect to said axial force-transmitting element.
