BANDWIDTH ALLOCATION METHOD AND SYSTEM BASED ON UCLP APPLYING VIRTUAL LAN

<p>An end-to-end band allocating system based on UCLP(User Controlled Light Path) to which VLAN technique is applied and a method thereof are provided to set a VLAN corresponding to a request of a general user without passive intervention of a network administrator. An end-to-end band allocating system based on UCLP(User Controlled Light Path) to which VLAN(Virtual LAN) technique is applied comprises an SCSImpl unit(312), a UCLPTxn unit(314), a CLI(Command Line Interface) Ethernet(316), and a CLI session unit(318). The SCSImpl unit(312) determines whether to generate UCLPxn for being connected to a conventional SONET or UCLPxn for forming a VLAN according to the kind of an RO(Relay Operator) transmitted from an LPOS(Light Path Object Service). The UCLPTxn unit(314) offers a transaction service. The CLI Ethernet(316) transmits a CLI instruction for generating a VLAN on an Ethernet switch. The CLI session unit(318) transmits the CLI instruction to the Ethernet switch and performs a data exchange procedure in correspondence with a response from the Ethernet switch.</p>
