A system and a method for supporting search with automatic keyword input are provided to enable a user to easily and quickly perform the search by reducing an operation frequency for inputting a keyword to a keyword input box, and executing a web browser and the search by automatically inputting the keyword to the keyword input box. A keyword recognizer(210) recognizes and copies the start/end of the keyword selected by the user(200). An interface(220) receives a search condition including the recognized keyword. A search converter(230) converts the search condition into a search request format of search contents provided from a search content server(270). A search requester(240) transmits the search request to the search content server. A content connector(250) transfers the search request of the search requester to the search content server by connecting a client and the search content server. A search display part(260) transmits a search result to the interface to display the search result of the server received through the content connector to the user by executing the web browser of the client.
