A horse riding type health apparatus is provided to enable a user to feel as if he is riding a horse, to improve exercising effects, to make exercising exciting, and to enable the user to enjoy exercising. The horse riding type health apparatus includes a support frame(10), a controller(100), and an operation portion. The operation portion includes an inverter(25), a geared motor(20), a first power transmission unit(30), a second power transmission unit(40) and an interlocking unit(50). The inverter outputs output signal corresponding to the input signal of the controller(100) to the geared motor(20). The geared motor(20) generates rotary force corresponding to the output signal of the inverter. The interlocking unit(50) connected to buffering members of first and second power transmission units(30,40) performs vertical and horizontal interlocking motions.
