The manually-guided, motor-driven lawnmower has vibration dampers fitted on the handle (24). Each of these consists of an outer sleeve (30) surrounding an inner sleeve (32) with apertures (38). The rigidity of the damper is determined by the size and shape of the apertures. Independent claims are included for: (A) the vibration dampers; and (B) the inner damping sleeve.
