LNG REGASIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD USING OFFSHORE FLOATING STRUCTURE

An LNG re-gasification system using a marine floating structure and a method thereof are provided to reduce time through the gasification operation of the LNG even if the LNG transport ship and the RV ship are separated by selectively connecting the LNG tank with the cargo containment system. A method of re-gasificating LNG comprises a step(a) of pipe-connecting the LNG tank of the sea floating structure with the cargo containment system of the LNG transport ship and supplying the LNG stored in the cargo containment system into the LNG tank; a step(b) of selectively connecting the cargo containment system with the LNG tank, re-gassing the LNG supplied into the LNG tank at the re-gasification facility, and supplying the LNG; and a step(c) of re-gassing the LNG in the status of separating/connecting pipes between the cargo containment system and the LNG tank.
