A ski binding comprises an arm or plate 13 extending rearwardly on the ski and adapted to enter a recess 14 in the heel of the boot, the arm or plate being integral with or attached to the toe iron 2. The recess 14 is bridged by a member 17 so as to form a groove 16 in which the plate 13 may rest if not engaged in recess 14. A tightening device 10 draws the boot sole into position against the toe iron. Specification 670,588, [Group VII], is referred to. |
