An air conditioning apparatus is provided to keep the indoor air clean by discharging the purified air into a room through a filter during circulating function and cleaning operation. In an air conditioning apparatus, a shroud(145) is formed on a central portion of a discharge grill(14) with a predetermined diameter so as to flow an air taken by a fan to a top side. An orifice(143) is formed inside of the shroud to pass the air. An air guide(144) is formed on one top side of the discharge grill with being bent at a predetermined curvature to guide a flow of the air passing through the orifice. The shroud is detachably coupled to the discharge grill and is formed on the discharge grill as one body. A fan is mounted on a top side of the shroud. And, in order to separate the fan, only a shroud is separated from the discharge grill without disassembling the discharge itself. And, the shroud is bent at a predetermined curvature to minimize a flow resistance received by the air.
