摘要 A liquid crystal display is provided to secure uniform visibility in all directions by forming four domain groups classified by a direction that liquid crystal inclines, in the substantially equal area. First and second gate lines are formed on a first insulation substrate. Data lines cross the first and second gate lines, insulated from the gate lines. First and second thin film transistors are formed at every pixel, connected with the first and second gate lines and the data lines. A first sub-pixel electrode is connected with the first thin film transistor. A second sub-pixel electrode(82b) is separated from the first sub-pixel electrode by a certain gap, and is connected with the second thin film transistor. A second insulation substrate is opposite to the first insulation substrate. Common electrodes are formed on the second insulation substrate, including a domain dividing element. A liquid crystal layer is interposed between the first insulation substrate and the second insulation substrate. A display area of the second sub-pixel electrode is divided into four domains by a self-shape of the second sub-pixel electrode and the domain dividing element, wherein areas of the domains are equal substantially.
