A method for managing the floor for a group call in a mobile communication network and a group call system therefor are provided to enable a user, who presides over the group call, to manage the floor of the other participants in the mobile communication network in which the simultaneous group call is possible, thereby effectively performing the group call by making a prediction for acquisition of the floor possible. A method for managing the floor for a group call in a mobile communication network comprises the following steps of: enabling a UE#3(User Equipment) among plural terminals(UE#1,UE#2,UE#3) to request the floor from a UE#1 which presides over the group call(S200); if the floor is requested, enabling the UE#1, which presides over the group call, to request allowance of the floor from a PPT(Push-To-Talk) server(S210); and enabling the PPT server to give the floor to the UE#3 which requests the floor(S220). |
