摘要 An angular velocity sensing device for a car steering apparatus is provided to more accurately sense an absolute angle by clear boundary between transmission and non-transmission of light, and correctly detect a binary barcode. An angular velocity sensing device(100) for a car steering apparatus comprises a housing(10), a rotor(20), a disc(30), a light source(40), a sensing unit(50), and a cover(60). The housing is fixed to a vehicle body, in which a steering column is mounted. The rotor disposed in the housing is operated in association with the steering column. The disc is fixed to the rotor and has barcodes(31) in a slit form. The light source disposed at one side of the disc projects light onto the barcode. The sensing unit disposed at the other side of the disc detects the light penetrating the barcode. The cover protects the housing. The disc is fixed to the rotor by compression or overmolding. The barcodes having a slit form are radially arranged on the disc.
