PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily mold release agent for die casting, which contains an antioxidant, inhibits the deterioration of an oil component, and can thereby delay the decrease in the thickness of oil film to enable continuous casting. SOLUTION: This lubricant for plastic processing, used for continuously cast-rolling or pressing a non-iron metal, is characterized by comprising 30 to 90 pts.mass of a base oil (solvent), 1 to 25 pts.mass of one or more selected from an oil group (group consisting of mineral oils, synthetic oils, fats, fatty oils, fatty acids and fatty acid esters) having dynamic viscosity of≥10 mm<SP>2</SP>/s at 40°C, 1 to 20 pts.mass of a silicone oil, 0.1 to 2 pts.mass of a phenolic or amine-based antioxidant, and an additive having a lubricating performance, and having a flash point of 60 to 150°C.
