In a liquid crystal display device, an array substrate (1) and a CF substrate (2) are arranged to face each other. A liquid crystal layer (6) is sandwiched between the array substrate (1) and the CF substrate (2). The array substrate (1) is bonded to the CF substrate (2) by a sealing material (3) which contains a photo-curing material. A metal wiring (4) is formed on a circumference section of the array substrate (1) on a side of the plane facing the CF substrate (2), and a transparent film (7) is formed between the metal wiring (4) and the sealing material (3).
