The invention relates to civil engineering, in particular to a method for inserting a screw pile and to a method for building a cut-and-cover tunnel using said screw pile. The inventive screw pile comprises a metal tube (1) provided with a spiral coiling (2) arranged thereon. A concrete head whose thickens ranges from 1/4 to 5 tube diameters is mounted on the pipe (1) and comprises metal rods whose length is equal to the head length. Said spiral coiling is embodied along the entire bore length in the form a spiral blade whose width is half to five times the diameter of the external concrete head. In the lower part of the pile, the spiral coiling is shaped in the form of a cone, wherein metal triangle stiffener ribs (5) are arranged along the entire helicoidal surface of the blade, the bases of the adjacent ribs are connected to each other and a applied to the concrete ahead, whereas the tops thereof (6) are arranged along the blade edge. The metal rod (7) is placed in the top (6) of each stiffener rib (5). The rods are interconnected by metal fittings (8) placed along the blade edge. Additional triangle stiffener ribs (9) are arranged in the spiral coiling in a perpendicular position with respect to the main stiffener ribs and are also connected to the tube by the bases thereof and to the tops of respective main stiffener ribs by the tops thereof. A unit for connecting to the hook (13) of a pile screwing device and an element for connecting the pile to the structure are mounted on the top part of the tube.
