<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Web page browsing device capable of easily switching and displaying each page of Web pages in good order without requiring complicated operation even in a portable terminal device with a narrow display screen, for instance. <P>SOLUTION: In response to one operation of a "forward" key in a key input section 16, a character string such as "next" described in an HTML file 15b of the Web page being displayed on a display part 17 is retrieved based on a keyword character string 15d for page link search, and URL (uniform resource locators) linked with the retrieved keyword character string "next" is extracted (15g) as URL.
