PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording apparatus dubbing a plurality of program data recorded on the basis of one period recording reservation with a simple operation. SOLUTION: The data recording apparatus includes: a first recording medium for storing a plurality of program data on the basis of at least one periodic recording reservation information item and a plurality of management information items (title management data) for respectively managing the program data; and a second recording medium. A plurality of management information include identification data (episode number) of the periodic recording reservation information and the data recording apparatus allows a user to designate one of the identification data included in the plurality of management information (step S18). Then the data recording apparatus searches the management information including the designated identification data (step S19). The data recording apparatus sequentially reads the program data corresponding to the searched management information among the plurality of program data and dubs the read program data from the first recording medium into the second recording medium (step S20).
