PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make inspection contents and inspection procedures flexibly changeable in the case of automating the inspection of operations of a main body circuit with respect to remote control operations. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus is provide with the main body circuit 11, a reception means 26 for receiving a control signal from a remote controller, a nonvolatile memory 24 that stores data for specifying the operating state even during interruption of power and reproduces the state of the main body circuit 11 just before the power is interrupted on the basis of the stored data at succeeding application of power; and a control means circuit 27 for receiving inspection data from an external data source. In the case of inspecting operations of the main body circuit 11 with respect to the control signal from the remote controller, a CPU 21 once writes the inspection data received by the communication circuit 27 to free areas of the nonvolatile memory 24 and transfers the inspection data written in the nonvolatile memory 24 to a RAM 23. The CPU 21 controls the operation of the main body circuit 11 by regarding the inspection data transferred to the RAM 23 as the control signal of the remote controller received by the reception means 26.
