摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a friction generation mechanism compact in size in a damper mechanism and a lockup device. SOLUTION: The damper mechanism 7 comprises a retaining plate 52, a driven plate 53 and a second torsion spring 57. The driven plate 53 is relatively rotatably arranged on the retaining plate 52. The second torsion spring 57 is arranged between the plates 52, 53 so as to be compressed when the plates relatively rotate, pushed against the retaining plate 52 by a centrifugal force, and slidable in the rotative direction.
