<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve speed to complete a sterilization cycle by rapidly and efficiently vaporizing liquid sterilant solution and generating sterilization vapor. <P>SOLUTION: A sterilizer employs a vaporizer having sloped surfaces over which flow the liquid sterilant solution for vaporization.
