<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component recognition method and device capable of taking an image of a component by moving an absorption head relatively to an imaging device and accurately recognizing the component even through the component image is shifted. <P>SOLUTION: The absorption head 1 for absorbing a component 3 is moved on a component recognition camera 7 in one direction, and images the component 3 together with a spot light source 8 provided at the head 1 as an indication pointer for measuring a speed. A moving speed or an acceleration of the head 1 is measured depending on the length in the movement direction of a taken light path of the light source 8. The component recognition is conducted by varying the component data used for the component recognition, or by compensating the taken image of the component on the basis of the measured result. This constitution can obtain the recognition result equal to the component recognition of the component in resting state, which can conduct the component recognition as the component moves to be able to improve the component recognition tact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
