IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of displaying more information than information displayable on an image forming apparatus onto a remote operation unit when the remote operation unit displays display information associated with operations of the image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: A copying machine 20 as the image forming apparatus includes: an image forming means for forming an image of image data to a recording medium; a first communication means for making communication with a PC 10 as the remote operation unit; a first display means for displaying information; an operation means for receiving operation entries; operation display information for displaying the first display means associated with the operations of the operation means; and a first control means for generating remote operation display information by attaching collateral information more than information displayable on the first display means to operation display information displayed on the first display means associated with operations of the operation means, and for transmitting the remote operation display information to the PC 10 via the first communication means.
