PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small hydraulic shovel such as rearward minimum-swing-radius machine with an enlarged cab allowing an operator to secure a comfortable driving space and prevented from being damaged by colliding with an object around in turning. SOLUTION: The cab 7 is constituted in such a way that a rear end 7a protrudes to the outer diameter side beyond a turning radius A of a rear end of a counterweight, and an increment counterweight 10 detachably mounted on the counterweight 8 is constituted in such a way that a turning radius B of a rear end of the increment counterweight is positioned more to the outer diameter side than the rear end 7a of the cab.
