PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film comprising an organic-inorganic composite material having excellent surface smoothness, excellent heat resistance, excellent solvent resistance and low thermal expansivity and useful as a flat panel display element substrate or the like, to provide a transparent conductive film obtained by laminating a transparent conductive layer to the film or the like, and to provide a flat panel display having the transparent conductive film and the like as constituting elements. SOLUTION: The film comprising an organic-inorganic composite material prepared by dispersing inorganic fine particles in a thermoplastic resin, having a solvent resistance index of≥0.8, and obtained by melt-forming a resin composition comprising the thermoplastic resin and the inorganic fine particles, and then irradiating the obtained filmy formed article with energy rays in an environment having a relative humidity of≤65%; the transparent conductive film prepared by laminating a transparent conductive layer to the film or the like; the flat panel display having the transparent conductive film and the like as constituting elements.
