A seat belt is provided to softly constrain the front behavior energy of a passenger when a vehicle crashes by releasing a part of a webbing by the elastic force of a spring. A seat belt comprises a webbing(50) having a tongue; a buckle detached from the tongue of the webbing; upper and lower anchorages(56) respectively corresponding to upper and lower parts of the seat and guiding the webbing; and a damper(60) releasing one part the webbing by the elastic force so as to absorb the front behavior energy of a passenger when a vehicle crashes. The damper comprises a cylinder(62) installed on the lower anchorage; a piston(64) sliding in the cylinder and connecting to the webbing; a stopper(66) installed in the cylinder to slide the piston in the releasing direction of the webbing when the vehicle collides; and a spring(68) elastically transformed when the piston slides.
