<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate PDL (page description language) data reflecting dynamic device information in a printing system of a Unix type OS. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system has a printer monitor section 102 carrying out output management of data to a printer 110 or the state management of the printer; a PDL data generating section 101 generating PDL data unique to the printer 110 from printing data output from the printing system of the Unix type OS; a back end section 105 outputting the PDL data output from the PDL data generating section 101 to the printer monitor section 102; a status display UI section 103 for carrying out processing including the state display of the printer 110; and an I/F section 104 carrying out interface processing of the printer monitor section 102 and PDL data generating section 101 and interface processing of the printer monitor section 102 and status display UI section 103. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
