PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shore strut for supporting a retaining wall excellent in workability and capable of being manufactured at a low cost, and its construction method. SOLUTION: The shore strut 1 for allowing a pair of retaining walls 21, 21 to support each other is extended between the retaining walls 21, 21 arranged at an interval. The shore strut 1 comprises side-part steel beam members 2, 2 arranged on both sides and a concrete beam member 3 sandwiched between the beam members 2, 2.
