PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant fixing structure of a ridge tile by which the ridge tile can be placed efficiently and it hardly breaks down even upon an earthquake disaster accompanied by lateral vibrations. SOLUTION: A stacking ridge base tile 12, a plurality of stacking ridge tiles 14 and a crest tile 16 are sequentially stacked upward on a top part of a roof 2 to form a ridge tile stack body 18. The stack body is extended in a direction of the top part to form a ridge tile of the roof. The ridge base tile used here has a thinned part 52 at the hem part of the obverse face and has a gently curved developed surface on the reverse face 42, and the ridge tile used here has a hanging part 54 at the hem part of the reverse face. The ridge base tile is engaged with the ridge tile, and the ridge tile is engaged with another ridge tile, respectively, at their hem parts. The stack body is fixed to the top part by driving a continuous ridge-tile fixing member 20 into a ridge tile core member 10 placed on the ridge part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
