PLATED STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plated structure having carbon nanotubes or the derivatives incorporated at normal temperature in a metal and a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The plated structure has the carbon nanotubes having≤200 nm diameter and an aspect ratio of≥10 or the derivatives uniformly incorporated in a plated layer. A resin material can be incorporated in the plated layer. As the derivative, one formed by applying various chemical modification on the carbon nanotube or by fluorinating the carbon nanotube is included. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
