PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric contact and its caulking method in which the caulking method prevents projections and depressions present in the head of the electric contact from collapsing when the electric contact is caulked into a plate. SOLUTION: The electric contact caulking method is a method of caulking the electric contact 1 without collapsing the projections and depressions 2 on the head of the electric contact, by protecting the projections and depressions 2 of the head other than the contact press part 4 of the electrical contact 1 from collapsing, when the electric contact is caulked into a plate 3 by pressing the contact press part 4 using the press part of a caulking punch.
