PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel reinforcing method capable of easily installing an excavating means around a tunnel and increasing construction efficiency by concurrently performing the excavation of an earth around the tunnel and the reinforcement of an earth around the tunnel. SOLUTION: This tunnel reinforcing method comprises a step for constructing a working tunnel T2 (working space) in the earth around a railway tunnel T1 (tunnel) and a step for excavating a curved hole A along the outer periphery of the railway tunnel T1 by an excavating means 1 advanced into the ground from the wall face of the working tunnel T2, and a solidifying material filled into the curved hole A and excavated sediment are agitated to solidify the excavated sediment in the curved hole A.
