<p>A doppler frequency calculating apparatus, a method thereof, and an OFDM demodulation apparatus are provided to estimate characteristics of all sub-carrier transmission lines by using only a frequency direction interpolating filter. In a doppler frequency calculating apparatus, a receive signal memory(31) contains a receive signal of a sub-carrier. A modulated element removing unit removes a modulated element from the receive signal. A Doppler frequency calculating unit(21) performs frequency analysis for the reception signal of each sub-carrier to calculate a Doppler frequency. The Doppler frequency calculating unit performs a Fourier transformation of the reception signal for each sub-carrier, and calculates a maximum frequency which exceeds a threshold amplitude as the Doppler frequency.</p> |
