<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera capable of executing photographing while overcoming drawbacks of the camera-shake correction system. <P>SOLUTION: When a camera-shake correction mode is selected (S116), the electronic camera drives an imaging element in an ordinary read mode wherein imaging signal electric charges of all pixels of the imaging element are sequentially read (S117), detects its blur amount (S118), corrects the blur (S119) and carries out photographing (S120). When no camera-shake correction mode is selected, the electronic camera discriminates whether a camera-shake reduction photographing mode or a sensitivity increasing photographing mode is set (S125), when either of the modes above is set, the electronic camera sets an exposure time again (S126), selects a vertical & horizontal summation read mode wherein imaging signal electric charges of pixels in the same color of the imaging element in vertical and horizontal directions are summated and read, drives the imaging element (S127), and carries out photographing (S128). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
