PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical light-emitting element which can specifically emit a pseudo-white color. SOLUTION: The light-emitting element is provided with a pair of first transparent electrodes insulated from each other, a first light-emitting layer which contains a molten salt electrolyte which is placed between and held by the electrodes and has a general formula (A) and a first luminous colorant, a first porous layer placed in the first emitting layer, a pair of second electrodes insulated from each other placed and laminated on the first light-emitting cell, a second light-emitting layer which contains the molten salt electrolyte which is placed between and held by the electrodes and has the general formula (A) and a second luminous colorant having a complementary color of the first luminous colorant in the first light-emitting cell, and the second emitting cell having a second porous layer placed in the second light-emitting layer.
