<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a degree of freedom of installing a handrail in an opening part. <P>SOLUTION: This handrail device of the opening part is formed by arranging a casing along a vertical frame 14 of a wall, and has a handrail 1 having a grip part 4 extending in the direction along the vertical frame and a base end part 6 extending to this grip part 4. The handrail 1 is arranged instead of a part of the casing by fitting a projection 7 formed in the base end part 6 to a groove 18 of the vertical frame fixed with the casing. Thus, a pedestrian is safely supported when passing through the opening part. A person is also safely supported when moving, standing and seating by a wheelchair by arranging the handrail 1 over the substantially total length in the vertical direction of the vertical frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
