PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removing device for an existing pile which exhibits an excellent durability and is capable of enhancing the removing workability of the existing pile by eliminating the limitation of the length of a casing to be connected to a heavy industrial machine for removing the existing pile at removing the same. SOLUTION: In the removing device for an existing pile, a chuck claw 5 is rotatably mounted to the casing for removing the existing pile and a through hole 10 allowing the chuck claw 5 to get in and out is provided to chuck the end part of the existing pile 25 by driving the chuck claw 5 by means of a chuck claw drive device. When the chuck claw drive device and the casing 3 are lifted with the top sheeve device of the heavy industrial machine for removing the existing pile under this state, the two upper and lower positions P1, P2 of the chuck claw 5 are made to abut on the two inner surfaces P3, P4 of the through hole 10 by the load of the existing pile 25 to be lifted with the chuck claw 5.
