A portable terminal having a port cover is provided to enable fetching/receiving operations of an external card to be performed at the same time as opening/closing operation of the port cover, and selectively open the port cover, thereby providing convenience in attaching/detaching operations of the external card, preventing undesired opening of the port cover and improving preferences of a product. A portable terminal having a port cover(140) comprises the followings: a terminal main body(110) having a port(125) of which one side is opened so that an external card(150) can be selectively inserted into or withdrawn from the port(125); a push device which is installed in the terminal main body(110) so that the external card(150) can be fixedly received or elastically withdrawn according as an external force is applied to the external card(150); and the port cover(140) which is installed in the terminal main body(110) so as to selectively open/close the opening of the port(125), and presses the external card(150) so that the push device can be interworked.
