A portable device having a folding type receiver is provided to enhance portability by enabling the receiver to be folded toward a bottom of a main body, thereby making the portable device small-sized. A portable device having a folding type receiver comprises a main body(10), a folding type receiver(30) and a rotary camera lens(20). The folding type receiver(30), rotatably connected to the main body(10), can be folded toward a bottom of the main body(10). The main body(10) includes a display unit(110) and plural keys(112) on its upper surface, and a battery pack on its bottom. The folding type receiver(30) is rotatably connected to an upper end(103) of the main body(10), namely an upper side of the display unit(110), such that it can be folded toward the bottom of the main body(10) and be unfolded toward an upper surface(101) of the main body(10). When the folding type receiver(30) is folded, it is positioned near the battery pack. When the folding type receiver is unfolded, a receiver unit of the folding type receiver is arranged away from the upper end(103).
