Method and device for the production of tubes or tube sections

The device has an unwinding device for unwinding material webs i.e. paper webs (4-6), from a material web roll. A supplying device supplies glue at an edge region of each web. A tube forming device folds the edge region on another edge region. The supplying device includes two glue transfer valves, which are associated to the webs and produce discontinuous glue marks such that discontinuous air-permeable channels are formed. Glue valves and/or nozzle plates (33) are pivotable between a glue applying position, a flushing and maintenance position and a service position. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing tubes or tube sections.
