METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BLOCKING THE OBJECTIONABLE MULTIMEDIA INFORMATION

A method and a device for blocking harmful multimedia information are provided to classify/block a harmful level of the inputted multimedia information with a harmful information classification model by extracting MPEG(Moving Picture Experts Group)-7 feature and non-standard feature from multimedia learning information, and generating the harmful information classification model through machine learning for the extracted feature. A harmful information classification model learner(120) generates the harmful information classification model(130) by extracting the feature from the multimedia learning information(110) corresponding to the known harmful level and applying the machine learning to the extracted features. A harmful information level classifier(150) determines the harmful level of the inputted multimedia information(140) with the harmful information classification model. A harmful information blocker(160) blocks the inputted multimedia information in case that the harmful level of the inputted multimedia information is out of the preset range. The harmful information classification model learner comprises a feature extractor(122) and a machine learner(124).
