<p>Connector has a housing (2) defining a cavity (9), and a filter assembly (3) removably placed in the cavity and having a set of pins (17). Front and rear assemblies (4, 5) are removably placed in the cavity on either side of the assembly (3). The assemblies (4, 5) have respective sets of contact elements (22, 33) cooperating with the pins. O-rings are respectively disposed between the assembly (4) or the assembly (5) and a wall defining the cavity. A compressible material layer (40) is interposed between the assembly (3) and one of the assemblies (4, 5). An independent claim is also included for a method of assembling a filtered electrical connector.</p> |
