A wireless communication terminal having a function of managing an album according to each subject and a method thereof are provided to measure the similarity of a target photo with each representative photo, to store the target photo at an album of the representative photo which has the largest similarity such that a user does not need to manually manage the album. A wireless communication terminal having a function of managing an album according to each subject comprises a wireless transceiver(11), an inputting unit(13), a storage unit(12), and a controller(15). The wireless transceiver(11) transmits or receives wireless signals to or from an external device. The inputting unit(13) enables a user to input each signal related to generation of an album and each signal related to registration of a representative image. The storage unit(12) stores plural albums, plural images and property information on a representative image of an album for each subject. The controller(15) generates an album for each subject according as the user inputs each signal related to the generation of the album. The controller(15) extracts the property information from a selected image, matches the property information with the corresponding album, and stores the property information at the storage unit(12) according as the user inputs each signal related to the registration of the representative image of the album for each subject. When the image is stored, the controller extracts the property information from the target image, compares the extracted property information with the property information of the representative image, and stores the target image at the album of the representative image which has the largest similarity.
