A hybrid induction motor is provided to mechanically prevent backlashing of a rotation shaft and to increase durability of the motor by installing a damping member. A hybrid induction motor includes a stator with a coil wound around the stator, a permanent rotator rotated according to a phase of a power, and a device preventing backlashing of a rotation shaft which is rotated with the rotor by centrifugal force of the rotor. The backlash preventing device has a latch(160) movably installed on an upper surface of a permanent frame, a stopper(151) selectively contacting the latch according to a shift position of the latch, and a damping member absorbing shock generated when the latch contacts the stopper.
