A portable music player for directly driving a large-sized speaker and an audio system are provided to directly drive a large-sized loud speaker by decoding files, stored in an internal storage medium of a mobile player, and then amplifying the decoded results through an embedded digital amplifier. A Flash/IDE interface member(212) connects a storage medium, smart media, a compact flash, a NOR flash, a NAND flash, an MLC flash, or an HDD(Hard Disc Drive) to a DSP(Digital Signal Processor)(214). A USB(Universal Serial Bus) PHY(Physical Protocol Layer) chip member(218) is connected with a PC(Personal Computer) through a USB cable. A memory bus and a peripheral bus are connected with the DSP and a peripheral device. A DAC(Digital Analog Converter)(232) converts a digital signal into an analog signal. An USB device(214) stores sound data inputted from the USB PHY member.
