A traveling robot is provided to allow the robot to smoothly travel on a non-flat surface including steps without causing vibration of the robot. A traveling robot(1) comprises a main body frame(10) having a front wheel(20); a rear wheel arranged in rear of the front wheel; a rear frame(40) which supports the rear wheel, and is supported at the main body frame so that the rear frame is movable in a vertical direction; a driving wheel(50) interposed between the front wheel and the rear wheel; a driving frame(60) which supports the driving wheel, and is coupled to the main body frame by a hinge portion(62) arranged in the same direction as that of the axial line of the driving wheel; and an interlock member(70) coupled to the driving frame in a manner that the interlock member contacts or is separated from the rear frame when the driving frame rotates with respect to the main body frame.
