DYNAMIC RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY AND COMMUNICATION TERMINAL COMPRISING THE SAME

A dynamic memory device and a mobile terminal including the same are provided to minimize current consumption by using a part of memory banks and entering the rest memory banks to a deep power-down mode, and increase operation reliability of the dynamic memory device by using voltage transformed to a level of an external power voltage level or a specific voltage level in the deep power-down mode. Multiple memory banks(110_1~110_4) are independently accessed. Multiple internal voltage providers(160_1~160_4) are arranged by matching with each memory bank and provide internal voltage to the memory banks. A deep power-down controller(135) makes the memory bank matched with the disabled internal voltage provider entered to the deep power-down mode by disabling the part of the internal voltage providers. Each internal voltage provider includes a transformed voltage generating circuit. The external power voltage is provided to the memory banks entered to the deep power-down mode.
