<p>A method of controlling drive of an air conditioner is provided to resale a displayed product after the display by resetting power. A method of controlling drive of an air conditioner includes the steps: (a) searching whether an indoor unit communicates with an outdoor unit; (b) performing an air conditioning function when the communication can be performed as a result of the step(a), and turning OFF the communication function when the communication function is out of order(S8); (c) after performing a general function for preparing the air conditioning function except the air conditioning function when the general function is turned ON after turning OFF the communication function of the step(b), stopping to perform the general function(S11); (d) searching whether the power is reset, after stopping to perform the general function of the step(c)(S12); and (e) repeating the step(d) when the power is not reset, and repeating the processes after the step(a) when the power is reset.</p> |
