A boring apparatus for preventing dust or chip is provided to collect dust or chip in a cover by arranging a sealing rubber at a lower end of the cover. A boring apparatus for preventing dust or chip, comprises a joint ring(6), a guide rod(8), a joint member(9), a cover(12), and a cleaning ring(13). The joint ring is fitted to an outer surface of a drill(1), and has a top with a diameter larger than that of a bottom thereof. The joint ring has a plurality of screw holes(5) formed at an outer surface of the bottom of the joint ring. The guide rod has an outer surface with a plurality of screw holes(15) formed at the position identical with the position of the screw holes of the joint ring. The guide rod has an inner surface where a guide groove(7) is formed for insertion of the drill. The joint member is inserted into the screw hole of the joint ring, and assembles the joint ring and the drill and the joint ring and the guide rod. The cover is arranged in a lower portion of the guide rod, and has an upper portion with a through hole(10) for insertion of the bearing and a lower portion with a sealing rubber(19) for preventing dust, chip and noise. The cleaning ring is fitted into the drill through an inner surface of the cover, and has a bottom with a brush which rotates together with the drill so as to prevent dust or chip generated during drilling from being attached onto the drill or inserted into the guide groove of the guide rod.
