A method and a device for transmitting image forming device information to a headset are provided to offer better convenience to a user by making a printer directly inform the neighboring user of printer information including printing status information through the headset without passing a mobile terminal. An information transmitter(330) transmits the printer information if wireless headset ID information is received. An information output part(360) outputs the printing information to a speaker of the headset corresponding to the wireless headset information through a voice message. A user interface(300) receives the wireless headset ID information from the user. The information output part includes an information receiver(362) for receiving the printer information from the printer, an in-use checker(364) for checking whether the headset is in use or not, and an information transferor(366) for outputting the received printer information to the headset speaker through the voice message after interrupting the use of the headset if the headset is used.
