An apparatus for exchanging and aligning a support roll of a horizontal-type looper is provided to secure working rapidity and productivity without human power by automatically exchanging and aligning the support roll. An apparatus for exchanging and aligning support rolls(2,4) of a horizontal-type looper comprises an electric trolley(10) having a driving motor(14), wheels(11) driven along with rails(1), and a mounting base(16) installed with the support rolls; an auto level mounting base(110) installed with an auto level; a turn table apparatus(30) containing a fixing base; a vertical transfer apparatus(40) installed at the upper surface of the fixing base of the turn table apparatus; a horizontal transfer apparatus(50) containing a horizontal bar(52) mounted at the vertical transfer apparatus; and a clamping part(60) clamping the support rolls by first and second clamping arms(62,72). A wire looping apparatus(20) contains a roll installed at the end of a moving bar.
