PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To couple a stepping motor integrated with a lead screw and a rack to a lens barrel by using a structure for allowing a mutual position error and a play, and accurately and stably drive the motor. SOLUTION: A driving apparatus comprises: the stepping motor (a caramel CAM) having the lead screw, the rack and a rack supporting bar; the lens barrel; a lens barrel supporting bar; and a coupling spring for coupling the rack and the lens barrel.
